πŸ’‘ University AI Strategies

With the continued integration of artificial intelligence across most industries, particularly since the public availability of generative AI tools, universities around the world are deploying a multitude of initiatives in research, industry partnerships and curriculum as well as integrating AI into their own business processes. Collaborations like Seoul National University's recent partnership with AI companies aim to cultivate digital talent through new programs, or ASU's partnership with Open AI earlier in the year to explore the potential of generative AI are examples. Trinity College London is creating AI tools for personalized instruction, streamlining educator workflows, while others seek to establish new facilities that would function to house AI capabilities, such as the consortium of New York institutions for Empire AI, an artificial AI computer center expected to rival the capabilities of tech giants such as Meta and Google, or the University of Texas recently announcement of a new college dedicated to AI. This week, Tunisia also announced the launch of its first public AI institute at the University of Tunis opening September 2024. Catch up on our most recent webinar as we explore opportunities for universities in the era of AI.
