🎓 10% Unemployment Among Turkey’s Tertiary Graduates

In 2023, Turkey recorded the highest unemployment rate among tertiary-educated individuals at 9.34%, followed by Greece and Spain, while Czechia had the lowest at 0.93%. This disparity highlights differing labor market capacities to absorb highly educated individuals. To address structural challenges, Turkey is aligning education with labor market needs, addressing skill gaps, and reforming regulations like severance pay and minimum wage structures. These efforts aim to create formal jobs and address the skills gap. 

🏭 5% Decline in China’s Robot Installations

Between 2014 and 2023, China's industrial robot installations surged from 57K to 276K units, marking a 384% increase. This growth aligns with initiatives like "Made in China 2025" and the Robotic Industry Development Program, which aim to modernize manufacturing and boost robotics innovation. China's policies, such as the"The five-year development plan for the robotics industry in the 14th Five-year plan," have positioned it as the world's largest market for industrial robots, fostering domestic production and technological advancements.

Sustainability professionals with advanced degrees are increasingly important, and managerial positions are rising. Governments support this trend through policies like the US Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and Canada's Sustainable Jobs Training Fund. These projects focus on reskilling workers to seize opportunities in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and other green sectors.
