π France to Develop New Ballistic Missile. France announced plans to develop a new ballistic missile to address gaps in its long-range strike capabilities.
π’ Japan Aims to Join Australian Frigate Development Project. The Japanese government officially decided that it would seek to participate in the joint development of new-type frigates being planned by the Australian government. Japan is competing with Germany over this multibillion-dollar endeavor.
π€ Indian Defense Minister to Visit Russia for Frigate Transfer to Indian Navy. The Indian Defense Minister will visit Russia from December 8-10 for the transfer of a Project 11356 frigate to the Indian Navy. The official transfer ceremony is scheduled for December 26.

πͺ L3Harris Secures Nearly $1B IDIQ Contract from U.S. Navy. L3Harris, a defense technology company awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract worth nearly $1B by the U.S. Navy.
π Dynetics to Build Common Hypersonic Glide Bodies for US Military. Dynetics (DTS) Awarded $670M to support the integration and prototyping of a new common hypersonic glide body for future strike weapons.

π‘ Open Cosmos Secures $36.9M ESA Contract for NanoMagSat Mission. Open Cosmos and the European Space Agency (ESA) have finalized a $36.9M contract for NanoMagSat, an innovative mission under the ESA to advance magnetic field monitoring.
π°οΈ Spectrum AMT to Produce Satellites for D-Orbit USA. Spectrum Advanced Manufacturing Technologies announced an agreement to manufacture satellites and components for D-Orbit USA, a space technology company.

The 2-lakh-square-foot plant will fulfill $236M in existing orders, strengthening Telanganaβs aerospace and defense prominence. Raghu Vamsi supplies critical components for aircraft like Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 MAX, collaborating with global leaders such as GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, and Honeywell, contributing to aviation advancements with precision-engineered parts.

π§βπ Taiwan's TMYTEK Aims for IPO After Securing $25M Series B for Satellite Tech. TMYTEK, a Taiwanese company, secured $25M in Series B funding and plans to go public next year. It is positioning itself in the satellite communications market.
π°οΈ SatVu Secures Β£10M Funding for Thermal Imaging Satellite Launch. SatVu, a London-based company secured $12.5M in funding to accelerate the launch of its HotSat-2 and HotSat-3 thermal imaging satellites.
π€ BlueHalo Acquires Underwater Robotics Company VideoRay. BlueHalo, a defense and security company acquired VideoRay, a provider of underwater robotic technologies. These technologies will be integrated into AeroVironment when it completes its acquisition of BlueHalo.
