Male enrollment grew from 18% to 40%, leading to an overall increase from 19% to 53%. This trend aligns with government initiatives, including the National Education Development Plan and the 2014-2030 Educational Reform Plan, aimed at enhancing educational access, which is crucial for sustainable development and social progress.

In 2022, Portugal generated 44TWh of electricity, with natural gas leading at 16TWh and wind following at 13TWh.
