📈 AAM Trains Veterans for High-Demand Skilled Manufacturing Roles. The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) offers a free 12-week training program for US veterans that combines technical classroom instruction with hands-on lab experience in automation and controls. Over 210 veterans have secured career-advancing roles to help address the projected manufacturing labor shortage by 2033.

🛠️CoorsTek Opens Training Academy to Upskill Colorado’s Manufacturing Workforce. CoorsTek has launched a new Advanced Manufacturing Academy in Colorado, supported by the ‘Opportunity Now’ grant. The facility offers hands-on training, apprenticeships, and certifications in advanced manufacturing. The academy equips learners with industry-aligned skills to support the sector’s growing demand for a skilled workforce.

🤝SASTRA and Bajaj Partner to Deliver Six-Month Training Program for Engineering Students. SASTRA University and Bajaj have collaboratively developed a six-month training program in next-generation manufacturing for final-year and graduate engineering students. The program offers an 80% fee concession to increase accessibility for engineering students in the sector.

AI & Digital Skills

🤝 Virginia & Google Join Forces to Train 10,000 in AI Skills. Governor Glenn Youngkin has partnered with Google to launch an AI career initiative that will provide free or low-cost training and certification to 10,000 Virginians. The program covers machine learning, NLP, and data analysis, aiming to upskill workers across experience levels. 

📦 FedEx Upskills Indian Youth for Future-Ready Jobs. FedEx Express is empowering over 1,500 young Indians, especially first-gen professionals and underserved communities, through AI, cloud, and logistics training under the NSQF. With real-world projects and mentorship, FedEx is nurturing a digital and economically independent workforce ready to thrive in India's evolving job market.

🤖 Kenya Partners with MindHYVE to Deploy AGI for Workforce & SME Growth. KEPSA and MindHYVE have launched a 5-year partnership to embed domain-specific AGI agents into Kenya’s national development efforts. These AI agents will drive upskilling, SME digitalization, and policy co-creation.The five-year plan positions Kenya as a pioneer in inclusive, purpose-driven artificial general intelligence.

Health Skills

🧑‍⚕️ Lorient Capital Raises $500M to Boost Healthcare Workforce and Innovation. The fund will support founder-led healthcare companies that improve clinical outcomes, enhance workforce efficiency, and increase access to care. Lorient’s investments focus on areas such as post-acute care, behavioral health, and tech-enabled services, supporting healthcare upskilling and system performance. 

🥼 Plum invests $25M to expand preventive healthcare for India’s workforce. InsurTech Plum will allocate $25M to grow its healthcare division, providing AI-driven screenings and personalized treatments. This initiative includes a fivefold increase in team size and builds on over 100,000 telehealth consultations, supporting 600,000 members across 6,000 companies. 

💉 TAFE NSW Orange receives $635,000 for industry-ready upgrades.  TAFE NSW Orange received a $635,000 government investment to upgrade its nursing training facilities. The funds will create a simulated hospital environment, ensuring students graduate with industry-ready skills.
