π Volkswagen mulls plant closure in China. Volkswagen, the German automaker, is considering closing another plant, this time in China, the company's largest market.
π Honda Accord Hybrid Sales Surpass 50%. Honda reported that over half of its Accord model sales are now hybrid versions. This indicates a significant shift in consumer preference towards hybrid powertrains for this popular Honda vehicle.

π Major eVTOL Order for EHang. Yunshang Culture and Tourism Technology signed an order for 50 EHang EH-216 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles. These electric aircraft will be used for sightseeing, tourism, manned transportation, and emergency logistics, contributing to the regionβs growing low-altitude economy.

π Canadian Railway Tests Hydrogen Locomotive. Canadian Pacific Railway began testing its high-horsepower hydrogen locomotive, CP 1200. CPKCβs hauling both loaded and empty bulk trains in British Columbia. In partnership with Glencore, the pilot program aims to advance low-carbon rail technology.
π China's High-Speed Rail Network Reaches New Milestone. China State Railway Group announced that China's railway network surpassed 160,000 kilometers of operational track, including over 46,000 km of high-speed rail, making it the world's largest and most advanced high-speed railway network.
π Hitachi Rail Develops Next-Gen Battery Tech for Trains. Hitachi Rail is leading a partnership to develop advanced battery technology for intercity and commuter trains.

π’ ABS and HD KSOE Partner to Advance Zero-Carbon Shipping. ABS and HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) signed a memorandum of understanding to advance the development of zero-carbon ships.
π India's Ambitious Shipbuilding Plans. India plans to establish new mega shipbuilding parks on its east and west coasts to increase its global market share by 2030.

π² Bicycle Transit Systems Acquires Bike Share Company BCycle. Bicycle Transit Systems, a leading bike-share operator, signed an agreement to acquire BCycle from Trek.
π£οΈ Nationwide Transport Services Acquires ContainerTransport.com. Nationwide Transport Services LLC, a logistics solutions provider, acquired ContainerTransport.com to expand its logistics services.
βοΈ Alaska Airlines Acquires Hawaiian Airlines. Alaska Airlines completed the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines. The acquisition expands benefits and travel options for customers.
