California is launching a $20B project to upgrade its water infrastructure to address climate change impacts. India approved a $1.5B scheme to develop 31.35 GW of hydropower projects in remote areas, including essential infrastructure. Poland plans to complete its first nuclear reactor by 2035. It has been revealed that the global EV charging infrastructure needs to expand by over 500% by 2030 to meet public charging goals, particularly in major markets like the US, Europe, and the UK. Komatsu introduced a futuristic autonomous amphibious electric dozer for underwater construction. Over the next nine years, Ukraine requires $14B to rebuild its war-damaged educational infrastructure. Hill & Smith PLC acquired Whitlow Electric Service Co. Inc., a U.S. steel manufacturer, for $30.2M to enhance its global presence.

💧 California's $20B Water Infrastructure Upgrade. California is undertaking a massive $20B project to upgrade its water infrastructure to address the impacts of climate change on the state's water supply.

⚡ India Boosts Hydro Power with $1.5B Crore Scheme. The Indian government approved a 1.5B scheme to support the development of 31.35GW of hydropower projects in remote areas by providing infrastructure such as transmission lines, ropeways, and railway sidings.

⚛️ Poland Plans to Build First Nuclear Reactor by 2035. The Polish government has set a goal to complete the construction of the country's first nuclear reactor by 2035.

⚡ Massive expansion needed for global EV charging infrastructure by 2030. According to data released on World EV Day, the current global EV charging infrastructure is severely lacking. It needs to grow over 500% by 2030 to meet public charging goals, especially in key markets like the US, Europe, and the UK.

🌳 U.S.'s First Carbon-Neutral Airport Aims for Greener Future. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is the country's first carbon-neutral airport and plans to reduce its environmental impact further.

🚅 Major Rail Infrastructure Project in Jordan. For $2.3B, Etihad Rail, a company based in the UAE, will construct a 360-km rail system in Jordan connecting the port of Aqaba and mining regions.

🚜 Komatsu Unveils Futuristic Amphibious Electric Dozer. Komatsu, a major construction equipment company, introduced an autonomous electric dozer capable of operating underwater that is aimed at future underwater construction projects.

🔒 University Program Addresses Cybersecurity for Infrastructure. The SURE-Grid program at the University of Pittsburgh is building awareness about designing infrastructure with cybersecurity in mind by having students from different majors create educational tools on this topic.

🏫 Ukraine needs $14B to rebuild its educational infrastructure. Ukraine will need $14B during the next nine years to rebuild the educational infrastructure that was destroyed or damaged due to the war.

🏥 Options Medical Weight Loss Expands with New Clinic in Algonquin. As part of its expansion, Options Medical Weight Loss, a leading medical weight loss clinic chain, opened a new clinic in Algonquin, Illinois.

🔩 Infrastructure Company Acquires U.S. Steel Manufacturer for $30M. Hill & Smith PLC, an infrastructure products supplier, bought Whitlow Electric Service Co. Inc., a U.S. steel manufacturer, for $30.2M to expand globally through acquisitions.

🚀 AttoTude Raises $29M to Accelerate High-Speed Networking for AI and Data Centers. AttoTude, a startup, raised $29M in Series A funding to develop its revolutionary interconnect technology that boosts speed and efficiency for high-speed networking in AI and hyperscale data center applications.

🔌 EV Charging Startup OpConnect Raises $5.3M to Grow. OpConnect, an electric vehicle charging infrastructure startup based in Portland, Oregon, raised $5.3M to expand its geographic reach and sales of EV charging hardware and software.

🔌 ChargeEuropa Secures Funding for EV Charging Stations Expansion. ChargeEuropa, an EV charging infrastructure company based in Poland, successfully raised funding led by Shift4Good, with participation from Simpact Ventures, MobilityFund, and others.

🏗️ Ardurra Acquires Infrastructure Consulting Firm WK Dickson. Ardurra, backed by private equity firm Littlejohn & Co., acquired infrastructure consulting firm WK Dickson.

🚧 PE-backed RoadSafe Traffic Systems Acquires Pavement Marking Firm. RoadSafe Traffic Systems, a provider of infrastructure services backed by private equity, acquired All Star Striping, a pavement marking business.
