Happy Monday π
A key focus this week was scaling up hydrogen infrastructure, specifically around refueling and distribution as the sector's core end customer base is poised to be transportation. The US Department of Energy contributed $40M to four hydrogen refueling projects as part of a larger $62M initiative to support hydrogen infrastructure development. Similarly, Germany began construction on a hydrogen industry network called HH-WIN, and the Hamburg Green Hydrogen Hub is set to become operational in 2027. A $2.9B project to expand San Francisco International Airport has begun after years of planning and pandemic-related delays. The expansion will add 200,000 square feet of space, new security checkpoints, and passenger amenities. New York is set to open 24 new school buildings to accommodate the growing student population ahead of the 2024-2025 academic year.
