Meanwhile, Western nations' $1 trillion investment in LNG infrastructure is seen as a threat to climate goals, conflicting with the push toward renewable energy. In Africa, Ghana began constructing its $12B Petroleum Hub, the continent's first integrated petrochemical complex. The US allocated $521M in grants to expand its EV charging network with over 9,200 new ports, and $800M in federal funding is available for low-carbon transportation projects. 🔌 U.S. Boosts EV Charging Network with $521M in Grants. The U.S. Department of Energy awarded $521M in grants to expand the electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country by deploying over 9,200 new EV charging ports.
🚢 Maersk Opens the Largest Logistics Park in Saudi Arabia. Maersk, a global shipping and logistics company, opened its largest Logistics Park at Jeddah Islamic Port in Saudi Arabia.
