👶 >15% Increase in India’s ECE Net Enrollment Rate
India’s early childhood education (ECE) net enrollment rate rose by over 15% from 2022 to 2024, reflecting growing national efforts to boost ECE access. However, India still trails over 50 countries, with top performers achieving an enrollment rate of over 90%. Rural areas continue to lag due to weak infrastructure, limited parental awareness, and a lack of structured programs. In response, both central and state governments have increased funding and teacher recruitment to strengthen Early Childhood Education nationwide.
🍃 UK Pioneers Green Skills Requirements for Jobs
The demand for green talent increased in 2024, with the UK and Portugal seeing the largest increases at 13% and 9.7% respectively. This trend reflects a global shift to sustainability, driven by clean energy and electric vehicles. However, reports reveal a critical skills shortage, with youth demanding more support to enter the green economy. To bridge this, the European Commission’s Pact for Skills, part of the EU Green Deal, aims to reskill the workforce for the transition.

Global operational industrial factory robots reached a record high of 4M in 2023, with continued growth fueled by rising demand and tech advancements in sectors like automotive and semiconductors. Asia accounted for 70% of new installations, with India leading in growth rate and China topping in total deployments. This growth highlights a global shift toward advanced manufacturing tied with robotics as industries prioritize efficiency, precision, and scalability in an increasingly competitive manufacturing landscape.
