In health funding, Neurogene secured $200M in private placement financing this raise will support the development of a gene therapy dubbed NGN-401 thatβs being developed for the rare brain disease Rett syndrome.

π€ CerpassRx partnered with Waltz Health to launch an AI-powered tool to manage specialty drug spending better. Intelligent Specialty Engine, an AI-powered tool uses Waltz Health's real-time data analytics to help clients reduce costs, increase transparency, and improve experiences for patients and plan sponsors.
π LVIS Corporation launched an AI-powered platform for electroencephalogram (EEG) data analysis in the US. NeuroMatch Access is an AI-powered platform that received FDA approval in 2023. The platform uses AI to analyze EEG signals by filtering out unwanted artifacts leading to improved clinical workflows.
π J INTS BIO signed a MoU at Yonsei University to launch an AI-driven partnership aimed at transforming cancer treatment. The partnership brings together prominent institutions to advance personalized lung cancer therapies.
𧬠Biotechnology
π§ͺ Ring Therapeutics partnered with Singaporean research agencies to develop gene therapies for eye diseases and cancer. Ring Therapeutics to advance its Anellogy platform, which uses adenoviruses, a small abundant virus that doesnβt cause human diseases to deliver gene therapies to cells.
π¬ Inocras Inc. and Summit Pharmaceuticals International Corporation (SPI) signed a MoU to collaborate on bringing whole genome sequencing (WGS). The partnership aims to transform healthcare in Japan by using genomic data and bioinformatics to improve the understanding and treatment of cancer and genetic disorders.
π₯ GenomOncology partners with Genomenon to enhance germline variant classification and genomic reporting. GenomOncology integrates Genomenonβs Mastermind Data, a curated collection of genomic information, into its knowledge base, allowing customers access to detailed genomic insights.

π¨ββοΈ Tech Mahindra Foundation, in partnership with GIZ India and Tech Mahindra, has launched Project ASCENT, introducing healthcare careers. A dedicated job portal for Allied Healthcare Professionals was launched earlier this week aiming to simplify the recruitment process and bridge the gap between job seekers and recruiters, specifically targeting hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions throughout the country.
π₯ A new Β£50 million medicines manufacturing facility is planned for Newcastle. Funded through a public-private investment partnership between the government and Accord Healthcare. The facility will create over 50 skilled jobs and provide the NHS with essential medicines for oncology and autoimmune diseases, enhancing the UK's health resilience.
