🎒 Out-of-School Students in Ghana Drop 70% Between 2006 and 2019
Ghana saw fluctuations in out-of-school children numbers between 2006 and 2020, with a decline from 942K in 2006 to 91K in 2017, due to policies like FCUBE and improved infrastructure. However, numbers rose to 265K in 2020, largely due to COVID-19 disruptions. Community engagement, policy reforms, and remote learning support are vital for Ghana to progress towards universal education.
🌍 Over 2x Rise in Saudi Arabia's CO₂ Emissions Since 2000
Saudi Arabia’s CO₂ emissions rose from 47M metric tons in 1970 to 608M metric tons in 2022, with a peak of 611M metric tons in 2015. As the world's largest oil exporter, Saudi Arabia heavily relies on oil exports, which constituted over 80% of its total exports in recent years. Saudi Arabia is aiming for net-zero emissions by 2060, investing in renewables and energy efficiency under Vision 2030 to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and support sustainable development.

Between March 2022 and February 2023, India’s eSanjeevani teleconsultation service saw a remarkable rise in sessions from 3M to 7.5M, peaking at 9.4M million in December 2022. This increase highlights the platform's role in bridging gaps in urban and rural healthcare, which aligns with the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which aims to provide universal health coverage in India.
