🎓 8× More Apprentices in Construction vs. Manufacturing

In 2024, the US construction industry led with nearly 250K active apprentices, far exceeding manufacturing and other sectors. This growth supports federal goals to expand skilled workforce training through policies like the Executive Order on Scaling Registered Apprenticeships and the National Apprenticeship Act modernization. These initiatives promote equitable access, increase apprenticeship opportunities, and strengthen workforce development across industries, reinforcing construction’s vital role in training America’s future workforce.
🍃 India’s Renewable Energy Employment Was 6x Japan’s

In 2023, India employed over 800K workers in the hydropower, solar PV, and wind energy sectors, which is more than six times Japan’s renewable energy employment. This growth supports India’s 2030 target of 500 GW, driven by key policies like the National Green Hydrogen Mission, which promotes green hydrogen production. Japan is also expanding its renewable workforce through the 6th Strategic Energy Plan and the GX Decarbonization Power Supply Bill, aimed at boosting energy capacity and employment.
