Vietnam and Korea have formed a strategic AI and digital innovation alliance, while Malaysia’s MyMahir National AI Council targets talent development and policy integration. Nigeria is training 2,000 engineers in semiconductors and AI. The Philippines is investing $13M to train 30,000 IT-BPO workers. Australia launched a cybersecurity program for brokers, and Ghana’s DigiVibe is empowering women with digital skills to foster inclusivity in tech.

🌐 Deloitte Unveils Global Agentic Network to Scale AI-Driven Digital Workforces. The initiative plans to connect AI agents across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and North America to transform enterprise operations through automation and intelligent task orchestration. These AI agents, powered by large language models (LLMs), will enable autonomous business execution to become a fully AI-fueled organization by 2030.
💡 Vietnam and Korea Tech Alliance Set to Boost AI and Digital Innovation. Vietnam’s Deputy PM has endorsed a strategic alliance between Korea Telecom (KT) and Viettel, urging joint efforts in generative AI, LEO satellites, and digital talent development. The partnership aims to co-develop AI training centers, data hubs, and innovation ecosystems, aligning with Vietnam’s digital transformation vision.
💵 Malaysia has unveiled the MyMahir National AI Council for its digital Industry, a three‑year strategic initiative. Led by TalentCorp and the National AI Office to prepare its workforce for rapid AI transformation. The council will focus on four pillars: AI talent development, industry integration, policy and funding alignment, and stakeholder governance.
US and China Each Have >10 Leading AI Models

📱 As of 2025, advanced AI models like GPT-4.5 can understand and generate human-like text, analyze images, write code, and assist with complex decision-making tasks across various industries.
⚡ The US leads with 40 notable AI models, such as GPT-4 and Gemini, developed by companies like OpenAI and Google, constantly evolving in complexity and capability.

🌐 China's strong second place reflects strategic national investments, vast data, and major tech companies like Baidu and Alibaba, rapidly advancing diverse AI model applications.
Upskilling/Reskilling Intiatives
💻 Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) partnered with Chipmango. This is to strengthen the country’s semiconductor and AI workforce. The initiative aims to train over 2,000 engineers in chip design, AI, and related technologies, positioning Nigeria as a competitive player in the global tech talent market while building local capacity for future innovation in high-tech industries.
🦾 The Philippine government is channeling $13M into large-scale upskilling programs. This is for the Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (IT-BPO) sector. Spearheaded by the DICT, the initiative will train over 30,000 workers in emerging tech skills such as cybersecurity, AI, and data analytics to future-proof the sector and maintain its global competitiveness.
⚛ Connective, a major aggregator in Australia’s mortgage broking sector, has launched a cybersecurity training program. The program will focus on safeguarding brokers and clients from rising digital threats. The initiative equips brokers with critical knowledge to identify and prevent cyberattacks, ensuring data integrity and trust in financial services as digital transformation accelerates.
🤖 Ghana’s DigiVibe Initiative is scaling up to provide more women with digital and entrepreneurial skills. Focused on fostering inclusivity in the tech ecosystem, the program offers training in coding, digital marketing, and leadership, aiming to close gender gaps in the digital economy and support women in creating tech-driven careers and ventures.
