🎓 75% of Enrollments in Education Were Women

During the 2021-2022 semester year in Canada, 75% of enrollments in education were women, as well as over 70% in health and nearly 70% in social sciences. However, in engineering, women made up less than 30% of enrollments. Canada's education policies aim for gender equality with a focus on STEM fields through initiatives like the Apprenticeship Incentive Grant for Women and the "Made-in-Canada" Athena SWAN initiative.
💎 >50% of Employment in Critical Minerals Was From Africa
In December 2023, Africa held the largest share of employment within critical minerals with 52%, Central and South America held the next highest share with only 17%. Many African countries have implemented export restrictions on raw minerals to promote local processing and value addition, thereby boosting job creation and revenue, such as Ghana's Green Minerals Policy. Africa is likely to engage in more strategic partnerships with global powers to leverage its mineral wealth effectively.
⚕️ Healthcare Was the Largest Contributor to AU's Wage Growth
In 2024, Australia's wage growth was led by health care and social assistance as the biggest contributors at 0.09%. Accommodation and food services contributed the least with 0.01% growth. The government aims to boost wages through initiatives like the Fair Work Legislation Amendment Act and increasing the National Minimum Wage. These efforts promote job security and sustainable wage growth, aligning with broader objectives to enhance economic resilience and productivity.
