🎓 65% Fall in NFE Teachers in Thailand From 2016 to 2020

Between 2016 and 2020, the number of teachers in Thailand's non-formal education (NFE) fluctuated significantly, starting at 38K in 2016, peaking at 72K in 2018, and dropping to 25K by 2020. The Thai government aims to enhance NFE through initiatives like the Promotion of Non-Formal and Informal Education Act and the National Strategy (2018-2037), which focus on equitable access, lifelong learning, and community participation in education.

🌊 20% Rise in Hydroelectric Power Generation in Russia

Russia's hydroelectric power generation rose from 183TWh in 2013 to 216TWh in 2021, with significant growth between 2018 and 2021. This increase highlights hydropower's vital role in Russia's energy mix, accounting for nearly 20% of total generation. The government aims to enhance hydropower capacity through investments and initiatives under the Energy Strategy of Russia to 2030, promoting renewable energy while addressing climate change and energy security.

⚕️ Over 15% Rise in Singapore’s Healthcare CPI

Singapore's healthcare Consumer Price Index rose from 87.79 in 2012 to 101.75 in 2022, over a 15% increase, driven by an aging population and expanded services. In response, the government launched the Healthier SG initiative, focusing on preventive care and personalized health plans, with over SGD 1B allocated for implementation. Additional reforms under the Healthcare 2020 Masterplan aim to enhance hospital capacity and long-term care, ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens.
