Business and Management saw the highest enrolments at 530K, followed by Medicine with 366K in 2021/22, reflecting post-pandemic demand for healthcare roles. Social Sciences had 286K enrolments, while Veterinary Sciences attracted only 12K students. The data suggests areas of highest employment demand, such as business and healthcare, are driving university enrolments.
π¨ 25% More Active Wind Turbines in Denmark
Denmark's onshore wind turbines increased by around 23%, from 4,611 to 5,666 between 2010 and 2022. Offshore turbines saw more significant growth, expanding by approximately 56% from 404 to 630. This rapid offshore expansion highlights Denmarkβs focus on scaling renewable energy infrastructure, aligning with its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

Switzerland led Europe in diabetes health expenditure per person at $11,915 in 2019. In contrast, Poland had the lowest spending on diabetes, at just $900 per person.
