🧑‍🏫 ~3x Growth in US School Teachers Between 1955 and 2009

From 1955 to 2009, the number of teachers in the US nearly tripled, with private school teachers experiencing similar growth. However, since then, the growth has slowed, and teacher numbers are expected to remain largely flat from now until 2031. Meanwhile, the student population is projected to decrease by 5%, lowering the pupil-to-teacher ratio from 12 to 10.

🔋 Global Funding for Long-Duration Energy Storage Grew by Over $1B Since 2021 

Global funding for long-duration energy storage increased by $1B in 2022. From 2018 to 2023, cumulative funding rose from $100M to over $2.2B. This significant growth highlights the increasing investment and interest in energy storage solutions essential for enhancing renewable energy reliability and grid stability.

🌾 55% Growth in Rice and Paddy Production Output

Currently, sugar cane is the top food crop by production volume, with nearly 2 billion tons produced. Rice and paddy come next, with around 800 million tons produced in 2022. Notably, rice and paddy have experienced a significant growth in production, with a 55% increase from 2019 to 2022. This rise highlights the growing importance and efficiency of rice and paddy cultivation in recent years.
