πŸŽ“ 3x Rise in Student Enrollment in Morocco

Tertiary education enrollment in Morocco increased from 295,634 in 2000 to 1.41M in 2023, reflecting national efforts to enhance workforce readiness. Aligned with Morocco’s 2015–2030 strategic vision, the government aims to diversify higher education by approving 4,000 programs by 2025. The government also prioritizes scientific research, with 245 accredited doctoral programs and 1,000 annual scholarships, aiming to modernize education and meet socio-economic needs.

πŸ’Ό 70% Shortage of Construction Workers in Australia

Australia's 2024 workforce shortages are severe in construction (69%), mining (66%), and health care (62%). These shortages stem from flat enrollments in key trades and ineffective utilization of skilled migrant talent. The government has introduced the Skills in Demand Visa to address these gaps, offering clearer pathways to residency. This aligns with the APS Workforce Strategy 2025, aiming to enhance workforce performance and support economic growth by bridging the skills gap.

πŸ€– 2x AI Skills Gender Gap

Global AI skills penetration grew from 2016 to 2023, with male participation rising from 0.18% to 0.41% and female participation from 0.09% to 0.20%. As AI adoption expands, initiatives like UNESCO’s EQUALS Skills Coalition and gender-sensitive AI standards promote inclusive growth. To close this gap, efforts focus on enhancing digital skills training, mentorship programs, and ethical AI development, ensuring broader access to AI opportunities.
