💼 33% Drop in Non-Workforce Youth in Italy

Italy’s NEET rate for youth aged 15–29 peaked at 26.3% in 2014, reflecting labor market challenges, but declined to 16.1% in 2023, its lowest in 15 years, indicating gradual improvements in youth employment. Despite progress, youth unemployment remains high. To address this, the government has implemented initiatives like the Youth Guarantee program, which ensures young people receive jobs and training. Other measures involve hiring incentives, vocational training, and apprenticeships to reduce employment gaps to meet the 2030 targets.
🍃 Michigan Led US Auto Jobs With 166.8K in 2022
In 2022, Michigan led the US auto employment with 166,800 workers, followed by Indiana and Ohio. Federal and state policies aim to strengthen the industry's competitiveness through innovation, clean energy, and workforce development. Key states like Michigan support advanced manufacturing and EV transitions, aligning with federal emission-reduction goals. Southern states are also investing in infrastructure and training to grow their automotive sectors and attract new industry investments.
🤖 0.95 AI Skills per 10K in Canada
Between 2019 and 2023, Canada’s net migration of AI professionals rose from 0.15 to 0.96 per 10,000 LinkedIn members, reflecting its growing appeal as a tech hub. This growth aligns with government goals to lead in AI innovation through policies like Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs, Start Up Visa programmes, the Global Talent Stream, and Quebec’s AI immigration pilot. These initiatives streamline immigration, attract global talent, and support Canada’s expanding AI workforce and economy.
