🎓 >30% Rise in State Universities in Indonesia
Indonesia’s state university numbers grew from 96 to 125, a 30% increase reflecting government efforts to expand higher education from 2013 to 2022. Growth stabilized at 122 from 2016 to 2019, rising to 125 by 2021. Despite these efforts, Indonesia's tertiary enrollment rate is only 36%, much lower than Malaysia’s 45% and Singapore’s 90%, highlighting significant untapped potential for further development.
🛢️ 10% Less Coal Output in NZ From 2021 to 2022
New Zealand's coal production experienced a substantial decline of over 40%, decreasing from 4.63M Tons to 2.64M Tons from 2013 to 2022. Notably, the number of inpatients aged 65 and older fell from 4K to 2.5K. This trend highlights shifts in healthcare utilization, potentially linked to improved preventive care and policy changes that enhance healthcare access while addressing the needs of an aging population.
