πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“ 2M Drop in US College Enrollments Since 2010

The total college enrollment in the United States increased since 1950, reaching 21 million in 2010 from just over 2 million in 1950. Since 2010, enrollments have declined by nearly 10% to 19 million in 2023. The growing popularity of alternate educational pathways, the shrinking population of traditional college-age students, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have driven this decline.

πŸƒ China Wind Energy Capacity Growth >4x of the US

China led globally in wind energy capacity additions, contributing 37.6 GW in 2022. The United States followed with 8.6 GW, and Brazil ranked third with 4.1 GW of wind energy capacity additions. This highlights China's dominant role in global wind power expansion, nearly matching the capacity additions of all other countries combined. The US and Brazil also emerge as major contributors to global wind energy capacity increases.

πŸ’Š Insulin Aspart 30 Held Highest Share in China’s Diabetes Drug Market

Insulin aspart 30 injection held the largest market share among diabetic drug products in China in 2021 at 18.2%. Following closely, Insulin glargine injection and recombinant glargine injection held 17.4% and 12.2% respectively. In 2021, diabetes affected about one out of every ten COVID-19 patients in China, and according to the WHO, 20% of people with diabetes and diabetes-related disorders died in China in January 2020 as a result of COVID-19.
