In 2023, China led global renewable energy employment, particularly in solar photovoltaics, with 4.6M jobs. This success is driven by policies like the 14th Five-Year Plan on Renewable Energy Development, which targets a 50% increase in renewable energy generation by 2025. Additionally, China's new renewable energy plan, issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, aims to maximize renewable energy utilization through infrastructure upgrades and sectoral integration.
