In 2018, 27.3% of South African millennials in university studied business, economics, and management, while education also attracted over 20%. These fields are popular due to their broad career prospects and demand in South Africa's evolving job market. Other disciplines, such as STEM or arts, accounted for less than 10%, reflecting a more specialized interest among students in these areas.
π US EV Charging Stations Up 50%
The number of private EV charging stations and chargers in the US grew by over 50% between 2020 and 2022. While there was a slight decline in stations in 2020, growth resumed strongly afterward. By 2022, stations increased from 2.7K to 4.07K, and EVSE ports increased from 10.6K to 18.87K, driven by growing EV demand, government incentives, and increased investment in charging infrastructure to support the rising number of EVs.

Canadaβs police-reported cybercrimes rose by over 40% between 2020 and 2023, continuing a steady increase since 2015. This growth is driven by expanding internet use, digital reliance, and evolving cybercriminal tactics targeting personal and financial data. Each year, more Canadians report online fraud, hacking, and cyber threats as technological advances create both opportunities and vulnerabilities in digital spaces.
