💼 Workforce coaching platform Cloverleaf secured $7.3 million in Series A to expand professional development within the enterprise.
🙇Tutoring platform EdLight closed $4 million seed round to enhance student learning experiences with personalized feedback.
🏅 Accredify, a digital certificate provider provider, secured a strategic investment in its Series A extension following a $7 million financing round in April 2023.
M&A
🧑🏫 US based OPM provider, StraighterLine expands its early childhood education offerings with the acquisition of ProSolutions Training.
🌍 International study platform, Keystone Education Group acquires Edunation and Asia Exchange to expand its reach to Asia Pacific and promote Nordic study destinations.
🧑💼 Special education curriculum provider n2y and Texthelp, an assistive technology company, merge to create a new entity serving diverse learners and neurodiverse employees worldwide.
University Grants
🇳🇱 The Dutch government allocated €160.5 million to seven research projects at Dutch universities through the Gravitation Programme. These funds will support projects in diverse areas, including technology, energy, and others.
🇺🇸 Central Michigan University has been awarded a $15 million grant by the Michigan Department of Education to assist in mitigating certified teacher shortages in rural school districts.
🇺🇸 Allegheny College, a private liberal arts school, received $14 million in donations from three alumni families.
🇺🇸 Duke University's Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity has been granted $3.4 million from four institutions to aid in researching the post-pandemic racial wealth gap in five U.S. cities, among them Durham and Charlotte.
🇺🇸 The City University of New York received $700,000 from Robin Hood to expand its initiative, integrating career milestones into academic degree maps across multiple campuses.
🇺🇸 Old Dominion University secured $643,000 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Labor for Maritime workforce training and certification standards.
🇬🇧 The University of Cumbria received over £330,000 from the Office for Students (OfS) to expand its Level 6 degree apprenticeship provision.
