France's participation rate in education and training fell from 24% in 2014 to 16% in 2021, rebounding to 20% by 2023 but still below pre-2020 levels. To address this, the French government aims for a 65% participation rate by 2030, supported by initiatives like the Skills Investment Plan, which allocates EUR 13.8B to enhance training access, particularly for vulnerable populations, and improve digital skills necessary for modern employment.

South Korea leads in industrial automation with 1K robots per 10K employees, followed by Singapore at 770 and China at 470. As part of the Korean New Deal, the government invests in AI, IoT, and smart factories, aiming to automate 30% of manufacturing by 2025 and establish 4,500 smart factories, boosting productivity and addressing workforce challenges.
