🏫 2.8K Edtech Tools in K12 Education per District

The average number of EdTech tools used per district in the US increased from 851 in 2018 to 2,982 in 2024, demonstrating a consistent upward trend. This notable increase highlights the integration of technology in education, driven by major EdTech platforms introducing AI-driven tools and personalized learning companions. When considering internationally, the Indian Government has allocated ₹1.48 lakh crore in their 2025 National Budget, whereas companies such as Google have also increasingly invested in AI driven education initiatives.

🍃 40% of EVs Sold Globally Are Chinese

In December 2024, BYD led the global EV market with a 21.5% share, surpassing Tesla's 10.3%. This highlights the increasing share of Chinese EV manufacturers, whose affordable, mass-produced vehicles are disrupting the global market. China is further solidifying its position through initiatives like Battery as a Service (BaaS) and extended battery life, supported by government subsidies. In response to this dominance, the EU has imposed tariffs on Chinese EVs to safeguard its own market, amid recent negotiations for reductions of tariffs.

🏭 The EU had the Lowest 5G Household Coverage Among Top Providers

In 2024, South Korea, India, and China led in 5G household coverage at 95% each, outpacing the European Union's 67.717%. This highlights the rapid 5G infrastructure integration in Asian nations compared to Europe's slower adoption. The disparity is partly due to European restrictions on Chinese 5G vendors , despite the global push for high-speed indoor 5G via small cells . Broadband China is a national initiative taken by China to accelerate high-speed internet coverage nationwide to supplement its thriving tech and e-commerce markets
