🎓 >180K Chinese Students in Australian Universities

China and India have the highest international student numbers in Australia, with 189,282 and 139,038 students respectively, highlighting the country’s popularity as a higher education destination among Asian countries. However, visa processing delays and the implementation of new visa fees, are likely to deter prospective international students. The Australian government's recent measures, such as the proposed cap on foreign student visas, aim to manage the intake, potentially impacting future enrolment figures.

🍃 >50% of New Vehicles in Sweden and Norway were Electric

The global share of new electric car sales reached 22% in 2024, with Norway leading at 92% and China at 48%. Auto-making leaders like the US and UK are slower to adopt EVs, whereas nations like Norway are targeting 100% electric car sales by 2025. China's dominance in EV production, driven by supportive government policies and affordable models, exemplifies how national strategies can accelerate EV adoption. To further this, the Norwegian EV Policy, implemented by the Norwegian government, aims to achieve full electrification in new car sales by 2025.

🤖 India and the UAE Lead in AI Adoption

Global AI deployment averages 42%, with India leading at 59% and China at 50%, while France lags at 26%. This highlights a global trend towards automating and streamlining business processes, with the rise of multimodal AI models. The integration of AI is also prompting the creation of usage benchmarks, to ensure the responsible usage of generative content. Initiatives such as the EU Artificial Intelligence Act aim to provide structural guidance to enhance AI adoption in the region.
