💼 16% of French Employees Work Part-Time

From 2013 to 2024, part-time employment among French workers aged 15–64 decreased from 18% to 16%, reflecting stronger full-time job recovery and changing workforce preferences. The French government supports this trend through policies like the Investment Plan for Skills and ensuring equal employee benefits for part-time and full-time employees. Labor reforms that promote upskilling, job security, and flexible work have uplifted employee quality across France.

🏭 >150K Team Assemblers in the US

In 2024, US machinery manufacturing employed 151,310 team assemblers and 68,630 welders, reflecting strong demand for skilled labor and assembly roles. To address workforce challenges, the government’s National Strategy for Advanced Manufacturing focuses on expanding talent pools and enhancing training programs. Initiatives like Manufacturing USA’s Workforce Development Roadmap aim to equip workers with advanced skills, while the FAME USA program supports workforce revitalization, ensuring sector competitiveness.

🍃 >7M Renewable Energy Jobs in China

In 2023, renewable energy created over 16M jobs globally. China leads in renewable energy employment with 7.4M jobs, followed by Brazil with 1.57M, the US, India, and the EU are also making significant progress. Solar electricity and solar heating combined have been the highest job-creating industries, followed by liquid biofuels and hydropower. Governments support this growth through ambitious targets—China’s 2030 renewable goals, Brazil’s clean energy financing, the US’s Inflation Reduction Act, India’s 450 GW renewable capacity target, and the EU’s REPowerEU Plan. These policies drive clean energy deployment, decarbonization, and millions of sustainable jobs worldwide.
