πŸŽ“ India Offered 45 AI Study Programs in English

The UK and US lead in English-taught AI university programs, making them top destinations for international students. In contrast, major hubs like India and China lag far behind, limiting their appeal to foreign students. Despite ambitious national AI strategies and investments in domestic talent pipelines, the scarcity of English-medium programs in India and China restricts their ability to attract global AI talent, putting them at a disadvantage compared to countries where English is the primary language of instruction and internationalization is a policy priority.

🏭 >13M Employees in the Renewable Energy Sector

In 2022, the global renewable energy sector employed nearly 14M people, with solar photovoltaics leading at nearly 5M jobs, followed by bioenergy and hydropower. Governments worldwide aim to boost renewable employment to meet net-zero targets, focusing on workforce development. Key policies include the European Green Deal, promoting climate neutrality and job creation, and the US Inflation Reduction Act, offering incentives to expand clean energy jobs and manufacturing.

πŸƒ 6% Increase in the US Manufacturing Sector Workforce

In January 2024, US manufacturing employment stood at nearly 13M, recovering from a 2021 dip. This resilience stems partly from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), boosting infrastructure and manufacturing capacity, and the CHIPS Act, driving semiconductor production. Both policies aim to strengthen domestic industry, spur investments, and create jobs, supporting long-term growth in the sector.
