🏫 Morocco’s School Completion Rate Reached 100% in 2021
Morocco's primary school completion rate rose from nearly 60% in 2000 to over 100% in 2022. Achieving an increase of over 40% reflects significant progress in educational access and quality, driven by policies aimed at reducing dropout rates. A completion rate above 100% indicates improved retention and access, as well as re-enrollment efforts for out of age students.
⚡ 2x Growth in US Renewable Electricity Generation
US electricity from natural gas rose from 370TWh to 1,800TWh, while renewables increased from 360TWh to 900TWh between 1990 and 2023. Coal reliance dropped from 1,600TWh to 680TWh. The US aims for renewables to comprise 34% of its energy mix by 2028. It targets a 100% carbon-free electricity sector by 2035, reflecting a strong commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing energy sustainability.
⚕️ 23% Rise in Italy's Health Tech Expenditure
Italy’s public healthcare digital expenditure rose 23% from 2010 to 2019, reaching €740M. Aligned with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), over €1.6B is earmarked for health technologies. Initiatives like the Electronic Health File (EHR), and centralized booking systems illustrate Italy's efforts to streamline healthcare processes and enhance patient engagement.
