🎓 10 Percentage Point Decline in Pell Grant Recipients

The percentage of undergraduate students receiving Pell Grants, declined from 40.6% in 2011 to 31.6% in 2022. The US House has proposed a bill to diminish federal grants for students via the "Big Beautiful Bill", as many other entities are set to receive federal budget cuts. These cuts are also concurrent with the federal funding cuts to US universities, raising concerns over higher education costs in the US.

⚕️ 4x Growth in Pharmaceutical Revenue Worldwide

The worldwide pharmaceutical market revenue significantly increased from $390B in 2001 to $1.6T in 2023. This upward trend represents growth driven by the popularity of newer drugs such as CAR-T therapy and weight loss drugs. However, this expansion also brings challenges, including the presence of untested drugs, scarcity or high cost of certain essential products amid supply chain disruptions. 🏭 South Korea Leads in 5G Speeds

In June 2025, South Korea led in 5G internet speeds at 906.44 Mbps, outpacing Brazil (688.94 Mbps) and the United States (516.01 Mbps). Since pioneering commercial 5G introduction , South Korea’s advanced electronics industry has contributed to its top position with increased amounts of 5G and IoT enabled devices . Their 5G+ strategy is the government’s initiative to maintain and uplift the network quality and connectivity to have uninterrupted coverage.
